GMA Long Course Season BEGINS on Tuesday 5/4/21

Laura Matuszak

Dear GMA swimmers, parents and coaches,

THANK YOU SO MUCH for an incredible year of connection and challenge!  We have been so lucky to stay together as a team and continue to work toward our swimming goals this year.  YOU have made that happen with your commitment to your sport and your team.  THANK YOU for showing up on Zoom! and at far-away pools to contribute to our team.  THANK YOU FOR BEING GMA!  TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER THAN EVER!

We look forward to a brief break in training to rest, recover and spend time safely with family and loved ones.  We are thrilled that we get to start the long course season together on Tuesday, May 4th.  Please click HERE to see our May flier for our programming details and plans.  We will continue the same basic schedule that we have used as a team since we restarted the program in January.  Athletes in the Senior Group who would like to switch training groups may e-mail Laura Matuszak at this time to request a change.  Please note that we will be meeting in person at Sand Hill Park for all dryland sessions in May.

We are working to find a training space for the whole team in Chittenden County in June.  We are working with Essex Parks and Recreation, Essex Junction Recreation and Parks and we are consistently in contact with Saint Michael's College.  We are confident that we will be together training, close to home in June!  In addition, we will host a GMA Family Meeting on Wednesday, May 12th at 7:30 PM via Zoom! to answer your questions about the team and to share our team news and successes for the spring.  You will receive a Zoom! link for the meeting in May.

Please contact me with any questions or concerns.  Happy SPRING and enjoy the break period!

Best wishes,

Laura Matuszak, GMA Head Coach
