The Kingfish Swimming Club, a United States swimming registered organization, exists to develop competitive swimmers both as athletes and as people for the long term.  Kingfish swimming was founded by Jay Craft, former Olympic Trials swimmer and NCAA Division 1 All American.  Kingfish Rhode Island is an extension of the Kingfish swimming and is headed by Matt Emmert, Head Swimming & Diving Coach at Roger Williams University, & Connor Devers, Assistant Swimming & Diving coach at Roger Williams University.

Kingfish Rhode Island provides all levels of swimming, from local, regional, national, & Olympic Trial level swim meets. Emmert and his expert staff provide opportunities for swimmers at all levels to train and compete on a year round USA swimming member club.  It is our belief that in the attempt to reach one’s fullest potential each swimmer will maximize their chance to become their very best, both in the pool and out.  At Kingfish Rhode Island our cornerstone philosophy is that of a Positive Process Produces Performance.  Through this philosophy, we are confident in our ability to aid your swimmer reaching their full potential in the sport of swimming, but also in developing the necessary skills that will ensure success the remainder of their life.
