Officials needed!

Officials are needed for our upcoming season and beyond! In order to run meets, we do need to have officials and our ranks are in need of more. There is training involved and NE Swimming has some upcoming trainings scheduled. The entry level for officiating is Stroke & Turn so those would be the clinics you would want to consider. Anyone taking the 10/20 training would likely be able to help at our home meet.
When our team has officials we are also able to help out at other meets that we attend.
The PAB helps to offset the cost of training once it is completed and they will help with the USA Registration fee once you show a commitment to offciating at our meets.
Below are also many great reasons to want to become an official!
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions specific to officiating. Our current officials include Jon DeAngelis [email protected] and Nick Nash [email protected]
Do let Coach Marilyn know if you are planning to attend a training and are interested in becoming an official.
Info from New England Swim on Officials Traning

If you are looking to become certified as a new stroke and turn official, or looking to certify or recertify in a new position, clinics will be offered for certification or recertification as a stroke and turn official, starter, referee and administrative official. A summary of the scheduled clinics, along with their Zoom links, can be found below. If you have any questions please reach out to Ken Galica at [email protected] or Jess Workman at [email protected]
