Senior 1

This Senior 1 Group is designed to introduce each swimmer to a higher form of training with regard to volume, power development, and speed. All disciplines of swimming will be developed so that all athletes can swim at a competitive standard in each stroke and competitive event. 


  • 13-18 years of age 


  • Up to 6 sessions per week 
  • Session duration: 1.75 hours
  • Dryland up to 4 sessions a week
  • 5 practices a week recomended


  • Swim all four strokes legally
  • Conduct a legal turn for all four strokes, including the IM
  • Dive from starting block
  • Read the pace clock on the :00, :15, :30 and :45 intervals
  • Swim regular workouts of 4000 - 6000yds.
