Practice Procedures
Updated 3/2/2022

With the removal of the masking requirement in schools in NYS we have been informed by Webster and Eastridge Schools that we are also able to use their facilities for practice without a masking requirement. With that notification, starting Wednesday 3/2/2022:

  • Mask use is optional and left to the family to decide
  • Attendance check-in is no longer required
  • Locker rooms will be available for changing before and after practice

Event though a coach will no longer be stationed at the door prior to practice, we are still asking families to have their swimmers arrive promptly so they are ready to go on time. Similarly, at the conclusion of practice we’re asking the swimmers to quickly transition through the locker rooms and for parents to be there ready to pick them up when practice is over.

While restrictions have been relaxed, it doesn’t mean the COVID risk is zero. We encourage all of our swimmers and families to still maintain safe and healthy practices to reduce the risk of illness.
