VOLUNTEERING AT SWIM MEETS
- All parents on the team must adhere to our parent volunteer requirements
- Parents with a swimmer entered in a meet must be available for one volunteer session over the weekend, unless otherwise instructed; championship meets may require volunteering for more sessions
- Volunteer responsibilities are typically limited to timing, however, when we are the meet host, we will have a number of other responsibilities that will need to be filled by parents.
- We will do our best to be as equitable as possible with our volunteer assignments.
- Failure to adhere to volunteer requirements will result in financial penalty.
Please note that due to Covid-19 volunteering positions may be limited.
BECOME A USA SWIMMING OFFICIAL
Scarlet Aquatic Club encourages parents to support the sport of swimming by becoming meet officials. Various training sessions are offered by USA/New Jersey Swimming during the year. Central New Jersey has a strong need for additional officials; no swimming experience is required! Officiating is a fun way to support swimming and also allows you to be on deck where all the action takes place. Parents with questions about officiating should contact Head Coach Mike.
