Streamline Aquatics offers lessons to swimmers age 5 (MUST be completely potty trained) -13 & Adult. Levels below show the progression of skills taught and are a guide for parents. For our younger or more inexperienced swimmers, there are 3-4 swimmers per instructor. As swimmers become proficient and independent in the water, the groups become larger, 5-6 swimmers per instructor. Water safety conversations with swimmers are ongoing at all levels.

Level 1A   Must be comfortable and willing to put their face in the water.
Level 1B    In addition to the above, able to propel themselves forward unassisted.
Level 2      Must be able to swim a 25 yd freestyle with rotary breathing and a 25 yd backstroke.
Level 3      Must be able to swim a 50 yd freestyle, 50 yd backstroke, and a 50 yd breaststroke.
Adult        All skill levels welcome.

Families decide the correct placement; there is no coach evaluation before lessons begin.

When deciding which level is right for your swimmer, carefully match your child’s swim achievement to our swim levels.  If your swimmer is not appropriately placed, they will be moved into the appropriate level pending class availability.

Lesson days are dependent on The Pingry School or RVCC being open. Should an unexpected closing occur, you will be notified via email as soon as STAC has been notified.

Pingry has opened up the upper viewing area for parents to view lessons. This area was closed during Covid. You will also be able to use the restrooms/locker rooms as needed; however, nobody is allowed to wander about in the building.

RVCC has bleachers that parents may use in the pool area during lessons.  There are locker rooms that swimmers may use at the far ends of the pool.

Parents may not linger on the pool deck. This is for the safety of our coaches and swimmers. Please do not interrupt our coaches that are with swimmers. Please reach out with any questions or concerns via email-[email protected]

If we are required to shut down by the government, we will refund our lesson families.  If a swimmer gets covid or quarantined due to exposure, we do not refund.
