The BEAST Aquatics Competitive Age Group encompasses athletes who are dedicated to the sport of swimming at a young age and are interested in high-level development and competition. Swimmers build aerobic endurance, advance their stroke technique, and begin dryland training to increase their all-around athleticism. Swimmers begin to take personal responsibility for training during interval and test sets, race time awareness, goal setting and competitive race strategy formation. 
Group Requirements:
  • Must have New Mexico state qualifying times or be able to commit 4 to 5 days a week to practice
  • Highly coachable attitude and personal commitment to training
  • Ability to represent BEAST Aquatics on the state level through individual and team leadership

Practices are 90 minutes and offered 5 to 6 times a week.
