“There's no growth in the comfort zone and there's no comfort in the growth zone."
~Tim Elmore

We have had an amazing Championship season so far!  We had an incredible amount of PRs at Last Chance, HS Districts, HS State and B Championships!  We also had numerous top 8 finishes at these meets!  To top that off we had college scholarship offerings and National time qualifying swims from some of our swimmers!

Lets keep things rolling as we head to Club State and Sectionals!

If you are interested in getting private lessons for your swimmer let us know!  All coaches (including Jeremiah) are willing and able to work with your swimmer to help them master techniques at an accelerated rate.  Lessons can be 1-4 swimmers in size.
REMINDER:  When signing up for events...If you see a time that is red; they do not meet the reqs established by the meet director.  After you sign up, periodically check your entries to see if they were approved or stopped.

Top Tips for Choosing Snacks
By Chris Rosenbloom, PhD, RDN,

Did you know that 50% of all eating occasions are snacks? And, 63% of all food choices are decided within an hour of eating them? Dr. Shelley Balanko of The Hartman Group (a food and beverage consulting firm) recently shed some light on snacking in 2019. “Snacks are replacing meals because they are flexible, fun, and easy to individualize,” she said.
For swimmers, snacks can help prevent hunger, sustain energy, recover from a hard workout, and sharpen mental focus. Snacks can also be eaten as a reward after a long workout and appeal to a sense of discovery of new cultures and flavors.
But, how do you choose a “good” snack? Here are some do’s and don’ts for swimmers when choosing snacks.
