Congratulations to the Lakeside scholar-athletes who achieved USA Swimming Scholastic All-American status for 2018-2019. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event. 2014 LONGCOURSE TAGS REVIEW Led by captain Alex Zettle and Emma Garfield , LAC swam to a 4th place finish at the Texas Age-Group championship in Austin Texas. The staff is tremendously proud of the athletes as they had to battle for 4th place with another North Texas Team and it came down to only a 3.5 point difference. 2014 Long Course Sectional Recap     LAC swam to a 4th place finish in the 2014 Southern Zone Sectional Championships held in Conroe, Texas.  This meet caps off a very busy and productive season for the teams top 14 and over athletes.  This year’s sectional team consisted of 40 athletes ranging from 14 years of age to 22 years of age.     The lone team record of the meet went to Alecia McGillivray in the 1500m freestyle.  Many more team records were broken two weeks prior to this...

USA Swimming’s 2013-2014 Scholastic All-America Team has been announced and once again Lakeside Aquatic Club adds a notable amount of swimmers. The team is made up of high school student athletes who maintain a grade point average above 3.5 and achieve a required time standard in a single event. This year Lakeside Aquatic Club had six athletes make the team, which ranks tied 1st in the North Texas LSC.
