Update April 17: Schools will remain closed the remainder of the school year and all events have been postponed until after May 31, 2020. We do not have confirmation yet as to what this means for our pools. We are currently working on a course of action for May and June. Communication to all membership will be sent via email no later than April 26, 2020.

On-site practices have been canceled through April 30th. Coaches are working on at-home programs for our competitive groups and will be communicating via email with swimmers throughout the next several weeks. We will update the practice schedule once we have more information.

All updates will be posted on our website and social media. This will be the best resource to find the most current information as it becomes available. Please visit USA Swimming for more details on how to avoid contracting and spreading the virus.

EMAIL - "LAC April Update" sent March 29, 2020

LAC Families,

Thank you again for your patience as we navigate through these trying times. Schools have announced an extended plan to remain closed through April 30, 2020, thus all pools will remain closed as well.

Our Head Coach, Jason Walter, along with his coaching staff, have worked tirelessly these past several weeks to adjust their teaching platform to provide your swimmers with Dryland Workouts, Online Sessions and Video Resources online. Coaches have remained dedicated to staying connected to all swimmers, maintaining accountability and keeping teammates engaged with one another.

Our staff continues to maintain the level of excellence you have come to expect from LAC, and we could not keep these amazing coaches on staff without you, the parents.  I genuinely believe we have the best team and we believe taking care of our staff is the right thing to do.

To thank you for your support and dedication, we will be discounting membership dues for the month of April. You will be charged 60% of your normally scheduled dues. Your accounts will be adjusted before payments auto-debit on April 1st.

We will continue to provide updates as they become available.

If you have any questions or concerns, please email Candice.saffle@swimlac.org.   We are eager to be back in the water as soon as it is deemed safe for everyone and look forward to coming back stronger than ever!
