Officials Transferring to North Texas and Other Registration Changes

If you wish to transfer your USA Swimming Non-Athlete membership to North Texas Swimming or to otherwise change your club affiliation, you can accomplish your transfer from your USA Swimming account's Member Dashboard (new website), click General Info, then the Club Transfer button, where you are able to affect your own transfer. There is no fee to transfer a currently registered official.

New and Renewing Officials Registration

  • For New Officials please visit our Getting Started page.
  • For Renewing Officials please follow these steps:
    1. You must renew your registration each year before it expires at the end of December each year.  The process has changed with USA Swimming's launch of SWIMS 3.0.  If you had a account prior to 9/1/2022, you will need to re-enroll at USA Swimming and lookup / link your current membership to it.  The old account will no longer work to access USA Swimming.
    2. Officials attached to a club, please contact your club to get the club member registration link (if you have already registered your kids, you can use the same link as you used for them) or if you are Unattached, request the link from [email protected].
    3. Using the link you have received from the Step 2 above, log in to your USA Swimming account and you will be prompted to renew your registration and provide payment.
    4. As before please work to ensure that you remain in good standing by keeping up your Background Check, APT and CPT.  All of that can now be checked and completed using your new USA Swimming Account.
    5. If you haven't already, please download the USA Swimming app, which can be used to show your credentials on deck and to check your membership status.  The DeckPass app will no longer work.
