Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming Lessons

 

Welcome to the Mid-Cities Arlington Swimming Lesson Registration Page! The registration process is simple for both new and returning families. You’ll get access to your own private account to view/edit your contact information and current and past class histories. On-line registration closes the Thursday before the session is scheduled to begin.  After the on-line registration closes walk-in registration at the pools will be accepted on a space-available basis.

  1. Select the Location from the pull-down above
  2. Select/click on Drop down Menu you want (ie Group Lessons, Private Lessons)
  3. Select the Sub-Program tab.
  4. Select the Class
  5. Click on the Red View Days/Times/Cost Button to pick the day and time
  6. Click on the red Register Button

Viridian Residents -Group Lessons for Adults

These lessons are for adults 18 years old and over that are looking for basic swim instruction and fitness. Emphasis is placed upon but not limited to, basic freestyle and backstroke technique.


Loading Classes

Viridian Residents- Level 1 -4 Summer Lessons PM

Our swim program offers lessons for children ages 4 to 15 years old in the evenings for 3 weeks at Viridian Pool. Our classes start at level 1 where we focus on safety and progress to the competitive swimming level. Our goals are to ensure water safety, teach enjoyment of swimming, and begin a competitive mindset. Our goal with this program is to ready the swimmers for the next step - competitive swimming on a USA Swimming team, if they are interested. In other words, your kids will have a challenging, year-round option available to them when they finish with our lesson program.

Viridian Residents- Level 1 and 2 Saturday only

Our swim program offers lessons for children ages 4 to 15 years old on Saturday mornings for 4 weeks at Viridian Pool. Our classes start at level 1 where we focus on safety and progress to the competitive swimming level. Our goals are to ensure water safety, teach enjoyment of swimming, and begin a competitive mindset. Our goal with this program is to ready the swimmers for the next step - competitive swimming on a USA Swimming team, if they are interested. In other words, your kids will have a challenging, year-round option available to them when they finish with our lesson program.


Loading Classes

MARS Summer Swim League (Viridian Residents ONLY)

This program is designed for the swimmer new to racing and for those just wanting to try competitive swimming out for the summer. The program begins on June 3rd and runs for six weeks. There are 3 meets scheduled on Mondays at area clubs pools and other pools. The championship meet is on July 20th in GCISD. Daily practices are at Viridian each morning, M-Th.

Summer Swim Lessons AM at UTA for Children (4-15 years old)

Our summer swim program offers lessons for children ages 4 to adult in the mornings and afternoons at UTA. Our classes start at the pre-school level where we focus on safety and progress to the competitive swimming level. Our goals are to ensure water safety, teach enjoyment of swimming, and prepare those who have the desire to participate in competitive swimming.

Junior High/Freshman High School Camps

These camps are designed for the 7th, 8th grade and incoming freshman or other first year competitive swimmer. Each new athlete will learn all of the competitive swim strokes necessary to be apart of their high school swim team. Experienced swimmers will continue stroke refinement and fitness.

UTA and TCC Level 1 and 2 year around lessons for Children (4-15 years old)

Our swim program offers lessons for children ages 4 to 15 years old in the evenings at UTA and TCC SE campus. Our classes start at level 1 where we focus on safety and progress to the competitive swimming level. Our goals are to ensure water safety, teach enjoyment of swimming, and begin a competitive mindset. Our goal with this program is to ready the swimmers for the next step - competitive swimming on a USA Swimming team, if they are interested. In other words, your kids will have a challenging, year-round option available to them when they finish with our lesson program.

MARS Sprint Team

This program is designed as a training group for high school swimmers to stay fit for next season. This group is coach by area high school head coaches. Practice is Monday-Thursday. 8-9AM at our UTA location, 6-7pm at our TCC SE Campus location or 7-8 am at GCISD Swim Center location.
