As part of its continuing expansion efforts across the Las Vegas Valley, BlueFin Aquatics has entered into a multiyear agreement to secure daily rights to the Adelson Aquatics Center located at the Adelson Educational Campus in Summerlin.
BlueFin Aquatics is a Henderson and Summerlin based swim team that is focused on supporting young swimmers ages 6-18 who are seeking to maximize their competitive swimming potential. Our experienced staff, enthusiastic and involved parents, and energetic swimmers combine to create a fun, challenging team environment with activities in and out of the pool designed to teach our children about the value of hard work, accountability and self-discipline. We train and develop every level of swimmer from beginners to Collegiate Swimmers/Olympic Trials Qualifiers swimming at 25 yard (Red Rock Country Club and Henderson International School), 25 meter (Adelson Aquatics Center) and 50 meter (Henderson Multigenerational Center) pools. BlueFin swimmers compete on a local, regional, national, and international basis year-round. BlueFin Aquatics is consistently ranked in the top 10 at Southern California Swimming Championship Events.

BLUEFIN COACHING PHILOSOPHY
Bluefin’s staff, led by Head Coach Bob Hommel, have coached swimmers who have earned scholarships at the most elite academies and universities in the world and believe in a “Race Pace” training philosophy. Our training is specifically targeted to the individual swimmer's goals and capabilities, and we believe that one size does not fit all when it comes to developing the individual swimmer.
