I have always been passionate about coaching and mentoring youth through sports. While achieving a certain time standard might be viewed as a measure of success by an athlete, it is not necessarily the same for a coach. Ultimately, if an athlete carries on a love for swimming as an adult and I have been able to demonstrate and instill in them the attributes of teamwork, perseverance, and hard work, I’ve been successful.
