Anyone interested in learning more about year-round swimming or about how you can begin swimming year-round is encouraged to attend a tryout.

1. All new swimmers are required to go through the tryout process in order to place them with the most appropriate training group based on the swimmer's age and ability. Returning members do not need to complete a tryout

2. Tryouts will evaluate stroke technique, stroke legality, and endurance

3. Swimmers who are interested in the Competitive team should have prior competitive swimming

   experience. It is recommended for swimmers under 12-years-old attending tryouts to have

   passed Level 6 of swim lessons at the YMCA (or equivalent).

4. Swimmers placed in the program must be members of the YMCA to participate. Campbell County Pre-Competitive

   and Masters Participants may hold Non-Member accounts. Contact (513) 474-1400 for more information.
