Group Advancement

There are not set requirements in our program related to group advancement. Instead, our coaches recognize when a swimmer is ready to move up to another group. This usually happens at the beginning of one of our two seasons, summer and winter. Sometimes, there are circumstances where a swimmer can be moved up in the middle of the season. Factors that coaches look for when advancing swimmers: knowledge of strokes, stroke development, attitude, behavior, and attendanace. If you believe your swimmer is placed into the wrong group, please email Coach Emma coach.emma@milfordswimming.org
