NCSA Jr Nationals

Congrats to all of our NCSA Jr. National swimmers competing in Orlando this past month!  Competitors for NAAC this year were:

  • 5 girls – Ally Wharton, Sarah Martin, Abbie Linek, Lauren Sadler, and Isabel Jenny
  • 2 boys – Carson Barnes and Andrew Bernsdorf

and 4 girls relays, with 31 total splashes out of 28 events qualified.  14 of our swims finished in the top 100 for their events - Way to go NAAC!  Cracking the Top 40 and qualifying for finals were both Ally Wharton and Carson Barnes - all NAAC results below!

JO Ohio AG Championship

Congratulations to all of our AG swimmers qualifying for and competing at this year’s JO meet!

NAAC had a very strong showing at the Ohio JO Championship Meet this year, finishing 9th overall of 40 scoring teams with 984.5 points, with our NAAC Girls in 7th with 525 points and our NAAC boys in 9th with 459.5 points.

Barbara Kay Mini Meet

What a great finish to the season for all that participated in the 8 under Barbara Kay meet.  Our swimmers really got up and raced leading to great times!  It has been our best meet in a long time, finishing 4th place overall.  Great Job to all the swimmers and thank you to all the parents for the endless time at the pool. 

Special Congratulations go out to Max White, who finished 2nd overall in the 7 year olds age group!

Sr Circuit Meet

We had a good showing for our swimmers that chose to continue competing past the HS Championship series, and some tune-up swims for our Jr. National qualifiers who would be competing again in just over a week.  We did not field a full team for this meet as our Sr Championship Meet is now in November.

 

Our girls swimmers came through with some clutch performances and qualified FOUR girls relays for the NCSA Jr National meet through their aggregate time improvements and a bunch of best ever times - - Congrats!

Ohio HS State Championship

Congrats to all of our HS Swimmers on a great season, with many of our HS-aged swimmers competing at the State HS meet in Canton, Ohio this past weekend!  We wrapped up the season with a bunch of best times over the past couple of weeks and some great performances at the State HS Championships – way to go NAAC!

Triple Crown

Congrats to our Age Group swimmers on their return to competition at the Triple Crown Meet hosted at UA this past weekend!  We had some very good swims across the board, with our often difficult Winter Break practices paying off at our first club meet of the New Year.  

NAAC finished 4th of 11 teams at Triple Crown with our Wave through Typhoon swimmers competing (and minus our MS & HS AG swimmers).  We had 8 new JO cuts and a 1st time JO individual qualifier in Mia Gregory – Congrats!  We also had new Zone times achieved by Kiah Smith in the 100 back, 100 fly & 100 free, as well as Sami Kiss in the 50 free.  Keep swimming fast, NAAC!!

USA SC Jr. Nationals

A BIG congrats also goes out to Ally Wharton and Nate Stadler for very good performances at the USA Swimming East Jr. National Meet this past week at OSU Both swimmers moved up from their initial ranking in all of their events, they set 3 new Team Records, and 5 of 6 swims were best times.  Details below, and again, a great job on the National stage for these NAAC Swimmers.

Ohio Sr Championship Meet - Nov 18-20, 2016

NAAC had a great showing for our HS-aged 14 and over swimmers Nov 18-20 at Miami of Ohio.  NAAC finished in 3rd place overall in Ohio with 1493.5 points, behind 1st place OSSC (Ohio State) and 2nd place DR (Dayton Raiders).  We had just over a 60% personal best time percentage in individual events – a great start for the first 1/3 of the season!  Top 3 place winners are listed below, with event winners in bold and new Team Records noted.  Full Meet results posted on the Meet Page and on the Meet Schedule page.

 

2 of our NAAC swimmers also earned High Point honors – Ally Wharton was the Sr Meet High Point Winner for 17-18 Girls, and Nate Stadler was the Sr Meet High Point Winner for the 15-16 Boys.  Special Congrats to these 2 NAAC swimmers!
