NAAC Waivers & Agreements
Waivers and Agreements are listed below as they appeared on our NAAC Registration form. Each section was noted “I have read and agree to the above statement” and required a check box mark noting your agreement in order to complete registration.
Medical Release Waiver
I certify that I am the parent or legal guardian for my child(ren). I hereby give my permission for any supervisor, coach or other team administrator associated with the New Albany Aquatics Club to seek and give appropriate medical attention for our child(ren) in the event of accident, injury, illness. I will be responsible for any and all costs associated with any necessary medical attention and/or treatment.
I hereby waive, release and forever discharge New Albany Aquatics Club and associated supervisor, coach or other team administrator from all rights and claims for damages, injury, loss to person or property which may be sustained or occur during participation in New Albany Aquatics Club activities, whether or not damages or loss is due to negligence. I hereby acknowledge that my children is (are) physically fit and capable of participation in all Swim Team activities.
Liability Waiver
By registering my child(ren) with the New Albany Aquatics Club, I agree to participate (or allow my child(ren) and family members to participate) in the New Albany Aquatics Club, and hereby release New Albany Aquatics Club, its directors, officers, agents, coaches, and employees from liability for any injury or illness that might occur to myself (or to my child(ren) and family members) while participating in the New Albany Aquatics Club program, including travel to and from training sessions, swim meets or other scheduled team activities.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the above mentioned organizations and/or individuals, their agents and/or employees, against any and all liability for personal injury, including injuries resulting in death to me, my child(ren) and/or other family members, or damage to my property, the property to my child(ren) and/or other family members, or both, while I (or my child(ren) or family members) participating in the New Albany Aquatics Club program.
Financial Agreement
I am aware that the full amount of group fees is due per registered swimmer(s) absent any extenuating circumstances. Upon registration a $100 non-refundable deposit will be charged, along with the USA Swimming registration for that season.
Monthly payment options are offered only to ease the burden of up-front payments per group for our NAAC families, and are NOT a pay-as-you-go plan. After initial registration, remaining Breaker fees will be charged in full on Sept 1st. Ripple, Wave and Tsunami registrants may choose to pay in-full (Sept 1st) OR opt for a seven month breakdown of remaining group fees (Sept 1st – Mar 1st). Hurricane, Typhoon, Cyclone and Elite registrants may choose to pay in-full (Sept 1st) OR opt for a nine month breakdown of remaining group fees (Sept 1st-May 1st).

There is a 2 week “trial” period for each swimmer from the start of their group’s first official practice date IF that group does not have a wait list for 2020-21. If there is a group wait list upon registration we WILL NOT offer a "trial" period, but will expect payment in full as noted above (whether paying in-full or a monthly option). After this 2 week "trial" period for non-wait listed groups NAAC will expect payment for the group fees registered for per swimmer (whether paying in-full or a monthly option).

Extra programming (such as our possible Pre-Season and College programs) will have all fees due upon registration.
Meet Participation
NAAC swimmers achieving JO cuts and above are expected to participate in their highest level meet that we will be attending as a team. We want our swimmers to gain the valuable experiences highly competitive meets provide and to represent NAAC well at the highest level meets attainable. Failure to swim at a qualified JO Championship meet or higher level Championship meet, for both individual events and potential relays, and which we are attending as a team, will be subject to a potential $50 per event penalty absent any extenuating circumstances.
NAAC Age Group swimmers must have at least 5 individual JO event cuts in order to forego a Regional Championship Meet. Swimmers with less than 5 JO cuts that do not attend the Regional Championship Meet will not be placed on relays at the JO meet absent any extenuating circumstances.
