Parents & Swimmers, We have had a number of flu cases on the team, as well as other illnesses. Please remind your swimmers not to drink after anyone else, wash their hands and if they have any signs of illness please keep them home from practice. Use the same standard as school - 24 hours fever and symptom free to return to practice. This is a rough time of year for illness, so we would like to keep the spread to a minimum. 2020 YMCA MASTERS NATIONAL MEET YMCA of Greater Cincinnati Team The YMCA of Greater Cincinnati will again send one team to compete in the National YMCA Masters Meet in Orlando, FL May 7-10 2020. Swimmers age 19 and older from any YMCA of Greater Cincinnati branch are welcome to participate. In compliance with Safe Sport we are required to have up to 4 marshals for each hosted meet. Marshals now have Safe Sport responsibility to help ensure the safety and well being of all athletes during meet competition. Safe Sport The Safe Sport Act is federal legislation that has expanded the requirements around sexual abuse reporting and prevention policies for organizations that arrange or sponsor youth sports competitions.
