Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA Sandshark Pre-Competitive Swim Program
Mission: To promote a sense of belonging and achievement through cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in a supportive team program. We use positive relationships as the foundation for learning, teamwork and personal growth to nurture the full potential of every participant.
The Sandsharks is an introductory program to prepare swimmers for the Tigersharks Swim Team. Programs offered at both the Powel Crosley, Jr. and Clippard branches (select one).
Ages 6-12
Prerequisite: Swimmers are able to swim 25 yards Freestyle and Backstroke without assistance or stopping.
