Congratulations to all the athletes who competed at the 2019 Speedo Sectionals this week! Many athletes achieved Personal Bests and new time standards, broke Oklahoma LSC records, and several qualified for national level championship meets! And for the icing on the cake, our athletes became the first team from Oklahoma Swimming to win a Section VIII Sectionals Championship!!! Overall, #TeamAESC beat out 31 teams from Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri and Arkansas for the combined team title. Our women placed 5th out of 45 women’s teams, and our men finished 3rd...

USA Swimming voted to ban the use of tech suits by 12-and-younger swimmers on Saturday at the United States Aquatic Sports (USAS) Convention in Jacksonville, Florida. The board made one amendment to the decision, to allow the use of tech suits to 12-and-younger swimmers who have qualified for the USA Junior National Championships or the National Championships. The rule goes into effect on Sept. 1, 2020.
