WELCOME TO MISSISSAUGA AQUATIC CLUB AND THE WAVE PROGRAM

The Wave Program is a great introduction to competitive swimming.  Wave teaches the fundamentals of the 4 competitive swimming strokes and their respective turns as well as introduces swimmers to the competitive side of this sport.

WAVE swims two times a week. Each practice is one hour.   When you register you can pick the location/time best for you. Swimmers are divided up by age and ability.  Levels are listed below. Coaches will use the first practice to assess the swimmers into the appropriate level and lane.

WAVE is for those whom are able to swim 25m or one length of the pool and are comfortable in the deep end.  We recommend swimmers have completed wim for life level 6 before attending a tryout, tryouts are required before registration to ensure appropriate placement.

The WAVE program for 2022-2023 will begin the week of October 3 (October 10 for Rivergrove) and will run for 60 practices **UNLESS THE PROGRAM DID NOT START IN OCTOBER* - ending in late May or June 2023.

Each location will receive a calendar specific to their program - NOW POSTED ON THE CALENDAR TAB! - all updated end dates for the practices this year are posted on the calendar tab as well!

The fee for the full season is  $1080.00. This fee covers 60 x 1 hour practices, 3 swim meets (schedule TBA) and a year end fun event in June. We offer a payment plan.

Each swimmer will also be invoiced for the Swim Onatrio Registration Fee. This fee is based on age and covers all swimmers from September 1, 2022 to August 31, 2023.  8 and under $121.40  /  9 and 10  $141.40  /  11-14  $161.40
