Winter Schedule Information!

It’s December and we are looking forward to some great racing next week at the PASL champs and beyond!  Racing is an opportunity for athletes to learn about themselves and grow. Races are not about going out there and showing that you are better then someone or just getting a time but about testing your capabilities and seeing what you can accomplish.  

Here is a Missy Franklin quote about the peace of mind that goes into putting in the work to be the best one can be and the feeling that comes along with that.  

“It was the feeling of knowing there was nothing else I could have done to be better. That feeling to me, I have found it in little places. It's amazing how that feeling goes so beyond athletics and how in my retirement I've been able to see how that is applicable to so many areas of my life. But it's that feeling when you just know, in your heart of hearts that if you had to go back and do it again, there's nothing else you could have done. There's not a percentage more of energy or effort that you could have given, you could not possibly have given anything more than what you just did. Being able to look back on something and have that kind of a feeling, that is the best feeling in the world to me. “

  • Christmas break schedule is here.  Let me know if you have any questions.  Swimmers in Sprint, Race, Train, and Perform that attend a specific number of practices can earn a Winter Training T-Shirt!
  • OC Pool will not have practices on days where there is a HS swim meet.   Oregon City High School Dual meet days: December 12th, 19th as well as January 9th, 16th, and February 6th.  We’ll work on setting up some practices at Molalla on those days and get info out for that early next week.
  • Molalla pool swimmers can come to OC on days when Molalla has a swim meet or help out at the HS dual.  No Molalla practice on December 4th, 18th, January 8th, 15th, and February 5th, and 14th.
