Coaching Staff
Coach Kelly starting swimming at a very young age, self described a
"water baby". A graduate of San Gorgonio High School in San
Bernardino California, Coach Kelly is an athletic hall of fame
member with a multitude of athletic accolades to her credit.
Four year swim team MVP, school record holder in the 50 and 100
Freestyle, and an All American.
After High School Coach Kelly continued at the University of
Nevada Las Vegas a Division 1 school. She still holds an All-Time
school top 10 time in the 50 free and as part of the 200 and 400
free relay teams. She was named All Mountain West Conference in
2000 and 2001, qualifying for the NCAAs in the 50 free in 2001.
Coach Kelly grandauted from UNLV in 2001 with a degree in
Psychology.
Coach Kelly thoughly enjoys the Oregon lifestyle, including
running, competing in triathlons and spending time with her
husband Keith, and two daughters Kirsten and
Khloe.
A standout from the late 2010's Coach Jessica joins the SHSC as an assistant coach with the Bronze and Silver group. Coach Jessica helped lead the Sweet Home Huskies to a 2016 and 2017 State championship. During that time she was the state champion in the 100 Backstroke, and a state recorder holder in the 200 and 400 Freestyle relay teams.
After High School Coach Jessica swam one year at Wagner College in Staten Island NY, before transferring to Wester Oregon where she is a senior majoring in elementary education.
Her previous coaching experience comes from Courtside Aquatic in Salem. When not at the pool, Coach Jessica enjoys camping and spending time with her fiance Josh Rice.
