About the Marlins:

The Cincinnati Marlins operate one of the most successful competitive swimming programs in the United States. Our team has produced some of the greatest swimmers to compete on a local, state, national and international level.  18 Marlins have represented the U.S. in the Olympics, tallying 23 medals and participating in every game since 1968.  Another 6 Marlins qualified to swim for the U.S. in the 1980 Olympics but were unable to compete due to our nation’s boycott of the Moscow games.  The Marlins were National Champions in 1980 and won the Junior National Championships in 1983, 1984, 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.  In 2006, our team won the Junior National Men’s Championship with our combined team taking the runner-up award.  In 1999 Swimming World magazine named the Marlins as the best age-group program in the country.  Marlin swimmers have set 15 world records, 19 American records, won 60 national championships and been named American swimmer of the year 6 times. The Marlins have won several sectional championships and  Ohio Junior Olympic Championships since 1971.

The Marlins operate 3 training locations: Marlins at Five Seasons Sports Club, Marlins at Northern Kentucky University, and our largest location and headquarters, Marlins Central at Keating Natatorium on the campus of St. Xavier High School.  Keating Natatorium is a 50-meter indoor facility that can be divided into two 25-yard pools.
