What is a Swim-a-Thon?
Swim-a-Thon is a USA Swimming Foundation approved fundraiser used by swim teams all over the United States to raise money for their respective club. To raise money for Swim-a-Thon, swimmers receive pledges and donations from family members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.
This is a family event. Parents of the younger swimmers help count laps and keep track of times. We hope that everyone is able to get the whole family involved. The older swimmers' involvement may also include helping count laps and encouraging the younger swimmers.
A portion of your donation goes to USA swimming. You donation is tax deductible as we are a 501c3 not for profit.
Fundraising helps keep the cost of dues low as dues only cover a portion of the cost of running a swim team. We are also raising money to help buy some equipment for the pool, such as ipads to allow swimmers to watch video of themsevles during meets and practice, dryland equipment, repairing of older reequipment, and various other things to run a business. Your support is appreciated!
If each swimmer raises $250 we will easily reach our goal!
