The Summer 2023 swim season starts May 30th and ends at the highest level of championship that each swimmer qualifies for.

Groups Description:
Our goal is to create groups of swimmers of similar age and skills levels in order to maximize instruction and progress. Group placement is by coaches decision only.
Here is a brief description of each training group:
BRONZE GROUP: Swimmers are typically age 10 and under and are newer to the sport. They have 2 or fewer seasons of competitive swimming experience. Must be able to dive off the blocks and complete a 100 IM (25 fly + 25 back + 25 breast + 25 freestyle).
SILVER GROUP: Swimmers are more advanced swimmers age 8-10 who can complete a 100 IM in under 1 minute and 50 secs. Most swimmers have been training and competing for at least 2 seasons (club and/or summer league).
GOLD GROUP: Swimmers age 11-14. Swimmers must be able to complete a 100 IM and dive off the blocks. Most swimmers have been training and competing for 2 seasons (club and/or summer league).
PLATINUM GROUPS: These are our most advanced training groups for swimmers age 11-14.
SENIOR GROUP: Exclusive to high school swimmers and above.

Notes:
- Non-resident Fee is an additional fee charged to non-residents of Worthington School District (charged June 1st).
- Second child: 10% discount; Third child: 20% discount; Fourth child: 30% discount.
- Annual USA Swimming membership required. You will need to purchase your membership on the USA Swimming web site at usaswimming.org prior to your first practice.
- The $13 annual Ohio Swimming membership will be charged to all accounts (once per year).
- Meet entry fees are additional and depend on participation.
- Fees are billed via our online Auto-Pay system.
- Practices may be cancelled when we host swim meets and for unforeseeable reasons.
- Refund policy: Full refund prior to June 1st. No refund past June 1st, except for documented season-ending injury or if the family moves away.
- Priority of registration for next swim season will be given to returning swimmers who both:
1. Compete in home meets and championship meets; and
2. Whose families fulfill their volunteer requirements.

SPRING 2023
The Spring 2023 swim season starts April 10th and ends May 26th.
Pre-registration is completely free and required for all returning swimmers prior to group placement by the coaches.
On-line pre-registration for returning swimmers closes February 26th.
Registration for returning swimmers opens after the coaches confirm group placements by March 1st. If you pre-registered, a spot for you is guaranteed until March 17th. Please visit worthingtonswimclub.org to register.
We will run a try-out session for new swimmers on Saturday, March 18 from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. All swimmers should be able to complete a 100 Individual Medley (25 fly + 25 back + 25 breast + 25 free). Space-permitting, registration for new swimmers opens on March 19th.

PLATINUM GROUPS: These are our most advanced training groups for swimmers age 11-14. Swimmers are split between Platinum A (must be 12 and complete 200 IM under 2:40), Platinum B (100 IM under 1:25) and Platinum C (100 IM under 1:30).
