FAST's 2023 Swim-a-thon is scheduled for Saturday, April 1at Pattonville High School. This is the only fundraiser that FAST is running this season and we are looking for 100% participation at the event. The minimum fundraising amount per group is outlined in the 2022-2023 Fundraising Obligation document that is listed below.
Our goal for 2023 is to raise $25,000. The monies raised by the Swim-a-Thon will help with the following:
Funding of the annual FAST awards ceremony
Offsetting of coach travel fees for out of town swim meets
Purchase of special team apparel
Replacing worn equipment
Funding of FAST social events
As a reminder, FAST is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization which makes corporate matching programs an easy way to double your donation! Please review the section regarding Corporate Matching programs found on the FAST I Swim-a-thon webpage. Investigate your place of employment as many employers will match donations made by their employees.
HOW
Participating swimmers will be divided into multi-age, multi-gender, mixed roster, relay teams. All swimmers from all groups are welcome and encouraged to participate in swimming at the Swim-a-thon event. FAST Prep swimmers are not required to fundraise but are welcome to do so and compete for incentive prizes. See below for fundraising obligations.
Fundraising will open on the FAST website on Sunday, February 12.
