Thirty-two RCA swimmers attended the third long course meet of the season at the RecPlex in St. Peters, MO, this past weekend.  Swimmers looked very sharp and RCA had great mid-season swims across several groups. Senior Swimmer of the Meet is Bella Dennis. She was 5 of 8 on best times including strong improvements in backstroke, which has been her weaker stroke recently.  RCA swimmers headed to our swim neighbors in Carbondale for the second long course meet of the 2019 season on April 26-28.  It was a very successful meet and was easy to see how the swimmers are getting more accustomed to long course racing.  The 11-12 girls age group was rockin' on record-breakin'!  Addison Ringwald set a new team 11-12 girls standard for the 1500m free with a time of 21:20.54, chopping off almost a minute from her time a few weeks earlier at the RCA meet.  Ava Walters nabbed...

RCA Boys represented three of the local high schools at the recent MSHSAA Class 1 State Championship meet in St. Peters, MO on November 9-10, 2018.  Daniel Seabaugh set the tone for his Cape Central High School teammates in the opening 200 Medley relay event as he led off the relay with a blistering 22.92 backstroke leg to give his team the lead. Nate Thomas made his first visit to the Mizzou Aquatic Center a memorable one with a slew of impressive early season swims.  He posted wins in the 50 Back (28.16), 100 Back (59.02), 100 Breast (1:10.47), and 200 IM (2:09.85) in the 11-12 boys division on his way to 100% best times.
