Thirty-two RCA swimmers attended the third long course meet of the season at the RecPlex in St. Peters, MO, this past weekend.  Swimmers looked very sharp and RCA had great mid-season swims across several groups.
Senior Swimmer of the Meet is Bella Dennis. She was 5 of 8 on best times including strong improvements in backstroke, which has been her weaker stroke recently. She put together her strongest IM effort in a long while with all 4 strokes looking strong.
Drew Barber receives Honorable Mention for his strong sprint performances and his solid 200’s, many of the swims his first-time attempts.
Gold Swimmer of the Meet is Natty Underwood.  Natty went into the meet not qualified for long course championships and left meet with six events he will swim at the end of July: 50 free, 100 free, 100 back, 50 fly, 100 fly, and 200 IM.  He was very close to qualifying in the 50 back and 200 free as well.  He had 100% best times and dropped a lot of time from just a month ago in Carbondale.  Congratulations, Natty!
Silver group had several solid swims, including Allie Aufdenberg’s 50 back, 100 free, and 50 fly.  Roman Underwood swam fast enough to get his first A time in the 10&under boys 50 fly.
Great work, RCA!!
