River City Aquatics had excellent performances in all age groups in Fishers, IN, over the weekend of June 14-16.  The swimmers ranged from fairly new to seasoned seniors and the coaching staff present was extremely pleased with each swimmer.  Nina Oslund gained further experience in the long course pool and showed significant improvement from her first long course meet in April.  Anthony Cugini displayed a new level of focus and earned another BB time in his 100 free.  Kennedy Ringwald placed 3rd in overall high point for 10&under girls and added the 100 breast and 50 fly to her list of BB times.

The Senior groups were very sharp.  Jacob Bening had strong in-season backstroke swims, including a best time in the 100 at 59.7 and matching his 200 best at 2:08.  He also posted a best time in the 100 free (54.6).  Daniel Seabaugh won the 200 free in a lifetime best of 1:58 and placed top four in the 100 back, 400 free, and 100 free (both 100s were best times).  Connor Hux also had a fantastic meet, with 100% best times.  His freestyle and fly races stood out, especially the stroke improvements in the butterfly swims, which helped take him to a double-digit drop in the 200 fly.  Jane West looked strong and added the 100 free and 200 free to her long course championship lineup as well.  Without any taper, the Senior group managed to contribute much to the 68% best times percentage of the group at Fishers.

The standout swimmers of the meet were Addison Ringwald and Kaiden Cracraft.  This was Addison's first 13-14 meet and she was simply marvelous in every race.  She earned A times in the 400 free, 100 back, and 200 back.  Her breaststroke races were big drops as well; she posted 100% best times and had great confidence and smooth strokes in every swim.  Kaiden also posted 100% best times and made big drops in freestyle and backstroke events especially, smoothing out those two strokes better than ever before.  He earned AA times in both 50 and 100 breast, and 50 and 100 fly.

Kaiden and Ty Thomas were a powerful duo in the 10&under boys age group, placing in the top 5 in almost every event.  Kaiden was third place high point in 10&under boys.  Ty earned high point honors and won every event but one.  He also broke two team records, the 10&under boys 50 fly and 100 free (AAA).  Ava Walters broke two team records for 11-12 girls, the 50 fly and 100 back. She also earned her first AAA times (50 back, 100 back, 50 fly), which earned her a spot on the Ozark Zone team in August!

Congratulations to all RCA swimmers who attended the meet!  Hard work is paying off and the coaches are excited to see what you will all do next!
