2023 Last Chance - Results

The Stingrays had 30 swimmers attending the "Last Chance" meet this past weekend at Webster University, and it was another outstanding performance!  We are up to 24 qualifiers for the Heartland Area meet (2 new swimmers added this weekend) and several who were already on the list made more qualifying times in additional events!  

To top it off, the Stingrays brought home the 3rd place overall team trophy!  (see attached pic)

CONGRATULATIONS, and thank you to all of our Stingrays who participated in this meet!   

The next event on our schedule is a new "long distance" meet that the SQUIDS are hosting this coming weekend (Feb 18) at the South County YMCA.  Good luck to the handful of Stingrays who have signed up for those events!  

Following this will be the Central Region Championships which will be held at the Twin Pike YMCA in Louisiana, MO on March 3-5.  There will be more information and registration should be opening for that very shortly.  Not to be confused with Area, anybody can swim at the Regional Championships as long as you have attended a minimum of two other closed YMCA meets this season.  This will be the final opportunity for swimmers to earn qualifying times for the full Heartland Area Championships.
