Three PAC Records and 40 Best Times in Corvallis

PAC sent 18 swimmers to the 2019 Comfort Suites CAT Open In Corvallis, OR over the weekend swimming to 40 best times, two team records and many more swims significantly faster than last year at this time.  PAC’s swimmers raced extremely well in all of their races, supported each other with some great cheering and our parents were timing and officiating the meet, too.  Hazel Derr broke the PAC 13-14 Girls 100 and 200 Back records with a 1:06.44 and 2:23.82 and broke the 400 IM record with a 5:16.50 while swimming to four best times.  Here are more best times and notes on swims that were comparable to last year at this time.

Isaac Anderson- one best time and .31 faster in the 100 Breast
Mischa Brown- .29 faster in the 200 Free than last year
Quinn Brown- 7 seconds faster than last year in the 100 and 200 Fly
Greta Cannon- two best times and 5 seconds faster 200 and 400 Free
Henry Cannon- three best times and 46 seconds faster in the 100 Back, 100 Free and 400 Free
Fallon DeWitt- four best times and 6 seconds faster in the 100 Back and 100 Free plus dropped over 1 minute in the 1500
Vadim Dedutinov- one best time by over two seconds
Austin Fogel- outstanding 100 Breast and 100 Free
Alex Johnson- four best times and 23 seconds faster in the 50-100-200- 400 Free
Maya Lovre- 3 best times including an 18 second drop in the 400 IM
Sage McCann- outstanding 200 IM
Owen Mills- two best times and 8 seconds faster in the 100 Free and 100 Breast
Sasha Moore- one best time and two seconds faster in the 200 Back
Marcus Moore- four best times and 13.5 seconds faster in the 200 IM
Madi Morin- Great 100 Free and 400 IM
Michael Spicer- five best times an dropped over 30 seconds in those events
Jake Wilson- Goodwin- six best times and 35 seconds faster in the 200 Fly and 400 Free
