Oregon Swimming (OSI) is hosting the Western Zones Age Group Championships from August 7th-August 10th at the Mt. Hood Aquatic Center.  This meet consists of 17 Local Swim Committees (LSCs) and will display the fastest 14&U swimmers in the Western USA.  Swimmers competing in this meet will represent their specific LSCs and will be competing on the same team as swimmers that they normally compete against.  It is an extremely fun meet and one of the top 14&U meets in the country!  James Crawford will be representing team Oregon in the 11-12 Boys 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 400 Free, 200 Fly and 200 IM and Coach Danny is serving as the Head Coach for Team Oregon.

With the meet still a few days away we are in need of volunteers.  We need timers (older athletes are welcome and encoruaged), deck runners, safety marshalls, hospitality workers etc.  This meet is not run by a host team but rather Oregon Swimming as a whole!  We haven't hosted this meet in many years and want to provide all travelling LSC's with a great meet and an excitement to return to swim more meets in Oregon.  Volunteering at this meet will count towards your PAC volunteering committment.
