PAC sent 11 swimmers to the Arena Western Zone Senior Championships in Fresno, CA, finishing 31st (60 points) out of over 120 teams participating (over 1000 swimmers).  Adrian Clement swam two five best times and competed in two finals winning the C final in the 50 Free with a new PAC 15-16 record of 24.74 and a new Futures cut.  Also, he swam in the 100 Back E final finishing 37th.  Fallon DeWitt swam three best times and competed in the C final of the 100 Back finishing 21st (her relay splits were amazing).

PAC swam in all three Boys and Girls relays over the week with Austin Fogel, Adrian Clement, Alex Johnson, and Sasha Moore finishing 24th in the 400 Free Relay, 25th in the 800 Free relay (a very exciting race against the Wyoming All- Star team who we beat at the end); and 35th in the 800 Free Relay.  The Girls were in great battles, to, especially the 400 Free Relay with Fallon DeWitt, Defne Alpay, Quinn Brown, and Greta Cannon finishing 32nd in the 400 Free, 36thi n the 800 Free and 40th in the 400 Medley relays (like the Boys they had some exciting battles in finals, too).

In our individual swims Defne swam to a best time in the 100 Free time trial and swam to outstanding relay splits each night.  Isaac swam to five best times dropping over 20 seconds in those swims.  Mischa swam to season best times in nearly every swim and came out pleased after every swim. Her 100 Breast was outstanding, too.  Quinn swam to three best times and dropped nearly three seconds in the 400 Free and swam a nearly perfect negative split 800 Free on the last day.  Greta swam to two best times and on the last day negative split her 800 Free by 4 seconds and dropped three in the event. Austin swam to three best times and dropped over one second in the 400 Free.  Alex Johnson swam to four best times dropping nearly 30 seconds overall!  Sasha dropped nearly four seconds in the 400 IM and swam to two best times and Michael swam to a 10 second drop in the 400 IM.

Our swimmers not only swam well but they bonded as a team at the pool, the hotel and bowling on the last night.  The love and support they showed each other each day was a highlight for all.  Thank you, parents, for the support of the swimmers and Coaches.  Thank you, Lee Cannon, for officiating nonstop over the week (and the meets leading up).  Way to go PAC!  Here are a few photos but there are many more on Instagram and here is a Google link from Jon Brown!
