Three PAC Senior Swimmers competed on Sunday at the Hagg Lake Open Water Swim.  Kyle Law (who will be joined by Daniel Volker at the USA Swimming 5K Open Water Nationals on June 6 in Long Beach, CA) led the way with a victory in the 4000 M swim with Aaron Reynolds finishing 7th and Brandon Risley placing second in the 800 M swim.  I hope to see many more PAC swimmers try open water swimming in the coming years!  Way to go PAC!  Results

PAC brought home loads of trophies this weekend at the 21st annual MHA Sextathlon and broke 14 PAC records! PAC swimmers shined at the THSC Spring Open this past weekend in Beaveraton, Oregon breaking 14 PAC records and bringing homes tons of ribbons and hundreds of best times!  Leading the way was 8 and under Alexander Hatzikos breaking  six 8 and under boys records- 50 Free, 100 Free, 200 Free, 50 Back, 100 Back, and 50 Fly. PAC took nearly 100 swimmers to the April Lincoln City Invitational and won the meet with ease over Bend (3178- 1414) and the host Lincoln City.  Overall, PAC swimmers competed well, swam fast (16 records) and had a good time doing so.  At the meet we scored 1405 points for the girls and 1773 for the boys, had 100's of best times and tons of laughs and great smiles!  After the meet on Saturday we ate a lot of pizza and then went to the beach to play football in...

On April 6, some PAC swimmers from SWCC will begin working out at the Portland State University pool on PSU’s downtown Portland campus.  Coach Laurie will coach at the PSU pool each Tuesday and Friday from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m., and she is excited about having seven lanes available for her swimmers there.  Using the PSU pool will offer a number of benefits to the team, because all of PAC’s current practice sites are operating at capacity, and SWCC is downright crowded.  The PSU site will offer the chance to...

Twenty-five PAC swimmers competed in the 2010 NW Section Age Group Championships this past weekend at King County Aquatics Center in Federal Way, WA.  PAC was the 17th largest team among the 141 team and over 1300 swimmers participating.  Coach Jody challenged PAC to break 30 team records with a top 10 finish and our swimmers did not disappoint.  PAC finished 7th with 252 points (we were 6 points from 6th) and was the second highest placing team from the state of Oregon!  PAC swimmers broke 25 team records (so close...
