2023 SUMMER TRAINING SCHEDULE 6/14-8/4

This is our summer practice schedule for June 15th-Aug 4th. We will take a Summer Break from Aug 5th - Sept 4th. 

Important Notes:

  • Our Parkrose Swimmers move to Dishman during Summer Schedule
  • *We would like Tuesdays and Thursdays at Mt. Scott and Southwest to just be Pre-Comp and Bronze 2. We would like all Gold swimmers and Senior2/5 swimmers to attend Dishman practice on Tuesday and Thursdays.*
  • P3 is at Dishman on Mondays
  • This schedule will start on June 15th (a thursday)
  • Schedule is subject to change due to swim meets, closures, etc.

  • Parkrose Gold swimmers may choose SWCC or Mt. Scott on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • P3 and Senior 5 swimmers will choose SWCC or Mt. Scott on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • P3 may choose to attend their site pool OR the Parkrose AM practice on Fridays.
  • P1 Mon and Wed Dishman practice is an optional double.
  • Any schedule accommodations must be cleared with your coach.

  • Dryland for Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Senior groups will be incorporated into the 1.5hr swim practices.
  • Dishman dryland will take place indoors on deck or on the upper balcony.

Drop off and Pick up of swimmers

Portland Parks respectfully requests that cars do not park in loading and fire zones at our site pools.  Either park and walk your swimmer in or drop them off safely in front of the facility. After practice and during the colder months, we request that swimmers stay inside until their ride arrives. 

Inclement Weather or Disasters

PAC typically will follow Portland Public School's closures for our site pools. However, Portland weather can change quickly and many of our pools open in time for afternoon practices. So, please watch your email, the website/team feed, and our e-Boards for updates from our coaches.  Our coaches will run practice if the pool is open and they can get to it. Ultimately, it is up to each individual family to decide if it is safe to travel the roads and if you cannot make it email your coach for some activities do do on your own.  PPR Information line on closures:  503-823-2533.
