Ethan Hall has 20 years coaching experience (all at Crow Canyon).  He has led the Sea Lions to 15 consecutive County Meet Team Championships from 2005 to 2019.  He led the Sharks to a Long Course Far Western Team Championship in 2010. In 2018 the Sharks Women’s team won a U.S. Winter Junior National Title. He was named a World Top 100 coach in 2017, 2018, and 2019. In 2019 he was given a Certificate of Excellence in Coaching Achievement by ASCA.

As a swimmer Coach Ethan was the U.S. NAG Record holder in the 15-16 200 meter Breaststroke and an Olympic Trials participant in 1996 and 2000. He swam collegiately at both UNC-Chapel Hill and UC Santa Barbara. He held the UNC record in the 200 yard Breaststroke in 1999. He was the Big West Conference Champion in 100 yard Breaststroke in 2001.  Ethan was UCSB's Athletic Department Golden Eagle Award Winner for the Highest GPA out of any student-athlete in his senior year.

Ethan lives in Lafayette with his wife Natalie and daughter Zennie. He loves the outdoors, camping, hiking, surfing and Sharks Swimming.

Pete Cromelin

Pete has been a Head Coach in summer recrational swimming for the last 10 years (Indian Valley, Round Hill). He has also coached swimming in Oregon, Indonesia and Australia.

He is also a dive instructor if you are into scuba. He loves the water and helping others.

Ariana Saghafi

Ariana was the first ever Pacific Record breaking 9-10 on the Sharks back in 2009. She trained under both Coach Ethan and Coach Joe as an age grouper. She was the CIF Champion in the 100 butterfly. She swam all 4 years at University of Wisconsin - Madison qualifying for NCAA’s her Junior and Senior year. She loves animals and traveling.
