Welcome to the Crow Canyon Sharks Electronic Registration platform for this season!

Below is information regarding Volunteer Requirements when we are able to partiipcate in swim meets again.  Also, please note that your monthly swim fees will be billed to your Club Member account.  We will only be charging the Sharks Annual Registration fee to your credit card that you provide during the registration process.  Please read thru to the bottom as this includes USA Swimming Membership process as well (aka Pacific Swimming for us)

Volunteer Requirements

Away meets:

Team timing requirements are based on the number of swimmers entered in a meet, not the number who actually swim. If you sign up for a meet, expect to time regardless if your swimmer attends that meet. The number/length of shifts will vary at each meet based on the length of the meet and the number of swimmers entered. If you are not able to fulfill your timing obligation, it's your responsibility to find a replacement and notify the volunteer coordinator who the replacement will be. If you have trouble finding a replacement, contact the volunteer coordinator who may be able to provide a list of people who would be willing to work in your place. If you fail to fulfill your timing obligation by either not signing up for a shift/finding a replacement or not showing up for your shift, the penalty will be as follows:

1st Violation: $50 fine. Payment must be cleared through Square before your swimmer can return to team activities, i.e. practice and/or meets.

2nd Violation: $80 fine. Payment must be cleared through Square before your swimmer can return to team activities, i.e. practice and/or meets.

3rd Violation: $100 fine. Payment must be cleared through Square before your swimmer can return to team activities, i.e. practice and/or meets. In addition a meeting with the president of the Sharks Board and Head coaches needs to be executed before the swimmer is allowed to return to any team activities.

Hosted meets:

All families are required to work a certain number of shifts during each Sharks hosted meet. The number of shifts will be based on number of families on the team and will be disclosed several weeks in advance of the meet. These meets are critical fundraisers and we rely on the help of our Sharks families to ensure their success. If you are unable to fulfill your volunteer obligation, it's your responsibility to find a replacement and notify the volunteer coordinator of who the replacement will be. If you miss your shift, there will be a $100 fine for each missed job and payment must be cleared through Square before your swimmer can return to team activities.

Team Functions:

Each family is required to volunteer at 3 team functions each year. The events are listed as a separate tab next to the meets on the Sharks website. It's a great way to get to know the swimmers in a social setting and a huge help to our social chair for this big job.

USA Swimming Officials:

We need officials! Our team is required to provide a certain number of officials based on the number of swimmers entered in each meet. We are fined as a team if we are unable to satisfy this very important job requirement. If you are willing to help, please contact our official's coordinator. There is a financial incentive tied to this job and officials will not be asked to time during the meets they are working.

Completing Registration:

1. Monthly Fees: Monthly fees will be billed to your Crow Canyon Country Club Account.

2. USA Swimming Registration:

USA Swimming membership is required for all year round swimmers. New swimmers will need to visit the Pacific Swimming site and follow instructions to register as a year round swimmer. Unless you have received the form via email.
