Ericka Richards Head Coach

Coach Ericka is a graduate of the University of the Pacific, with a Sports Medicine degree. She herself was an age group swimmer, having competed since she was 9 years old. She swam at levels from beginner to Senior Nationals which led to a full ride scholarship for the Tifers, where she also played waterpolo. Ericka's philosophy is simple, you get out what you put in. She believes cross-training in multiple sports helps your athleticism and therefore makes you a better swimmer. While it may not be true of ever swimmer, she will encourage you to try until you find your passion for swimming. Ericka has strong ties to swimming as she is still a masters swimmer, 'I just love to compete!" the tougher the competition the more she loves it. If you haven't found your calling come try club swimming!

Jeffrey deVries Coach

Jeffrey began swimming competitively in 2008 in Alaska where he swam for the Kodiak Kingfishers and the Ketchikan Killer Whales. He fell in love with the sport instantly; something about the water called to him as no other sport had before. Jeffrey joined Piranha Swimming as a swimmer in 2012 when his family returned to the “Lower 48”. He has been very active in our pre-team and stoke school programs, where he was one of the team’s first instructors. Jeffrey has a passion for teaching and enjoys seeing his swimmers have fun while developing their skills. He hopes to instill in them the same love he has for the sport.

Ethan Tran Coach

Stephanie Aguilar Coach

Stephanie was born in Marin and raised in Sonoma County. She started swimming at an early age and was a Piranha for 11 years. In her spare time she still enjoys swimming. Stephanie loves to swim because it relaxes her and its a life long sport that can benefit all mentally and physcially. During her tenure on the Piranhas, she was part of  Far western qualifying relays. She also went to Zone 3 a couple of times. Stephanie wants to coach now because she wants to inspire others to fall in love with the sport that was a huge part of her life. She is currently going to school for the Nursing program. Before that she was a part of the 9-1-1 system as an EMT. Stephanie is once again so happy to be a part of the Piranhas family!
