Why swim over the Summer?

Swimming over the summer is a great way for your swimmer to progress rapidly since there are more practices available than usual. For a lot of swimmers, it is easier to make practices because they do not have to worry about homework either! In addition, there will be some different meet opportunities coming up:

· Long Course Meets – Typically we swim in 25 yard pools, but over the summer we will have some meets held at 50 meter pools like they race in for the Olympics!

· Summer League Dual Meets (Summer League, Bronze 1, Bronze 2/3) – These will be smaller meets for newer swimmers hosted in either Marysville or our own pool. This is a great way for swimmers try some meets if they have never been to them before.

· Summer League Champs (All Groups) August 6th @ Snohomish Aquatic Center – This will be the final meet of the season, everyone who is swimming over the summer should plan on attending this meet!

What If My Family Goes on Vacation?

If your swimmer can’t attend practices over the Summer, it is recommended that you withdraw from the team since the new seasons’ registration will open up again in late August/September.
