BISC swimmers Carter Cox, Calvin Cox and Sota Inoue excelled as part of the PNS Zone team that attended the 2022 Age Group Western Zone Championships. Carter earned event champion honors in the 13/14 boys 200 backstroke with a 2:09.77 breaking his own BISC record in the process. He was 2nd in the 100 back going a personal best time 1:00.32 and resetting his own BISC record again and swam a personal best in the 50m free as well. PNS Age Group Long Course Championships July 28th-July 31st had some awesome moments. There were 102 personal best times over the course of the 4 days of competitions. Those finishing in the top 8 brought home cool “spinning” medals and those placing 9th-16th earned beautiful gold embossed ribbons along with points for our team. Bluefin Update, We represented this past weekend down in Federal Way for our Senior Long Course Championship. We are so proud of our athletes that put forth some solid effort. Aidan Cole, Piper Majors, and Emma Solseng competed for BISC in Finals with Aidan claiming a 5th place finish and a Futures cut in his 200 backstroke.
