2020-21 Season Registration Now Available

IST Communications

We're excited to announce that registration for the upcoming 2020-21 season is now available through the team website. Returning families can visit the IST homepage (www.istsockeyes.org) and click on the 2020-21 Season Registration button immediately below the photo carousel to get started.

As part of the registration process, we have produced an information packet that contains important details for the season such as start dates and order deadlines, training fees, a tentative meet calendar, and links to updated team policies that can be found on our website. You can access the information by clicking here.

Key dates for everybody to keep in mind:

  • August 3rd: Registration opens for returning families
  • August 12th: Swimmers who register by this date may order custom swim caps
  • August 16th: Registration opens for new families; after this point roster spots will not be held
  • August 31st: Senior groups first day of practice (Senior 1, Senior 2, Senior 3, and Senior 4)
  • September 2nd: New Family Orientation
  • September 8th: First day of practice for all other training squads (Sockeye, Surge, and Steelhead)
  • September 12th: Dive In Party

A couple of reminders as we embark on the registration process:

  1. Group assignments for the 2020-21 season have been processed through the website. If you participated in the Intent to Return event and indicated your athlete would be back, the coaching staff assigned them to a training group based on our best guess of the best place for them to be successful after several months of COVID restrictions. We fully anticipate making continual adjustments once things return to more normal operations. You can view your swimmer's training group by logging in to the website and then visiting the My Account section. Each member should have their training group listed.
  2. The Fall Training Schedule will be released as we receive firm information from our facility partners. We will do our best to finalize and distribute the schedule at least two weeks prior to the start of the season but that may not be possible given the uncertain environment.
  3. Coaching assignments (which coach will work with each group) will be released by the middle of August.
  4. Please make sure to update your swimmer's apparel sizing when registering (especially t-shirt and jacket sizes).
  5. Please verify all contact information and make sure you provide a phone number where staff can reach you in the case of an emergency.
  6. Registration should only be completed by parents and/or legal guardians (not by swimmer's themselves). The parent or guardian should also be the account holder (not the swimmer).

We look forward to beginning a new season with you soon and continuing to develop accomplished athletes and well-rounded individuals through competitive swimming. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns you may have.
