DRYLAND TRAINING

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

All swimmers in our Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups are encouraged to attend 2-3 dryland sessions per week. Ideally, athletes will schedule their sessions such that they have one day off between training. If that’s not possible, we will individualize training accordingly to accommodate.

Physical Therapist assessments are available by appointment for those athletes in need of rehab/injury management. Please email Coach Jim ([email protected]) to coordinate any rehab/injury management needs that arise.

 

SENIOR WEEK (August 29 – September 2)

The IST Gym will be open for all athletes in our Senior Program during the following times this week:

  • Monday-Friday: 4:30-6:30PM

 

FALL/WINTER SCHEDULE (September 6 – December 31)

The IST Gym will be open during the following days and times offering different programming according to the schedule below:

  • Mondays
    • 3:00-8:00PM
      • Full access to coached strength and conditioning sessions
      • All Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups welcome
  • Tuesdays
    • 3:00-4:00PM
      • Full access to coached strength and conditioning sessions
      • All Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups welcome
    • 4:00-6:00PM
      • Focused development sessions for Surge Groups
      • Sessions will begin at 4:00, 4:40, and 5:20PM
      • Athletes in these groups may choose whichever start time works best for their schedule
    • 6:00-8:00PM
      • Full access to coached strength and conditioning sessions
      • All Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups welcome
  • Wednesdays
    • 3:00-8:00PM
      • Full access to coached strength and conditioning sessions
      • All Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups welcome
  • Thursdays
    • 3:00-4:00PM
      • Full access to coached strength and conditioning sessions
      • All Surge, Sockeye, and Senior Groups welcome
    • 4:00-6:00PM
