Swimming on the Piranhas is a journey, not just a destination

Two former Poulsbo Piranha teammates are now swimming for the same college team!

Isabel Hendryx, who started with the Poulsbo Piranhas at age 7  swims for the University of Puget Sound Loggers in Tacoma.  She was a mainstay with the Piranhas and a standout at North Kitsap High School.  She is a Junior at UPS and is a leader on her team.

Kyla Schroeder started with the Piranhas at age 9.  She was the backbone of her peer group and also was an outstanding member of the North Kitsap High School Girls Swim Team.  Kyla chose to continue swimming after high school and as a Freshman at UPS will be a vital part of their team.

Both of these teammates may not have known they would end up swimming together later in life.  Starting at age 7 and 9 and sticking with it shows how many doors can open in this great sport.  We are proud of them both and are excited to follow the continuation of their swimming journey!
