Team, Transitioning out of COVID has been challenging in terms of swim meet availability and planning. We still don't have championship time standards for the summer meets. I just added the Cannonball Classic Meet. It's an out of the box concept meet that includes both Masters swimmers and regular USA Swimming members in the same competition. Another unique component is that a team must stay together and swim in a single session (which I really like). SRST is swimming in sessions 2 and 4 only....please be aware of this when...

Team, Mariner workouts for Seniors have changed. Practice is now 6-8:30 PM M-F. Dryland will take place the first 30 min. on most days, but Coach Ben may get kids in the water at any point from 6:00 on, so be in suits and be ready. If Seniors can't get to the practice until 6:30 PM that is fine. This is effective immediately. We have added some Saturday workouts at Mariner from 11 AM - 1 PM. Swimmers must be paying the $20 weekend addon fee in order to participate....

It's very simple...know your personal best times, compare those times to the time standards for the meet and if you are equal to or faster than the posted time standard, you can enter the meet....

Thanks! - Coach Ben INFO ON VOLUNTEERING AT MEETS WE DON'T HOST: On rare occasion, there will be a meet we sign-up for and then after signing up we will find out the host team requires volunteer timers from the participating teams. It would be nice...

Hello Team, The Fitter and Faster organization has done many swim clinics at SAC and they generally get outstanding reviews. SRST works with SAC and Fitter and Faster to communicate upcoming events. SRST is not associated with Fitter and Faster and we don't answer questions about the events or offer any tech support. Here is some info for you to look at: ====================================== Hi Stingrays! The below information is time sensitive to ensure the most people on our team can take advantage… We have been invited to attend a Fitter...

Team, THIS EMAIL IS FOR SWIMMERS TRAINING AT MARINER: Recently we lost the ability to use the weight room at Mariner. Effective today we will do the following: Seniors will have dryland Monday/Wednesday/Friday in the pool. Arrival time is 6:00 PM sharp (entire "dryland" workout is 30 min.). Swimmers should be in suits, but can wear shorts/t-shirt/tennis shoes. Some "dryland" activities might involve getting in the water. Swimmers will be using medicine balls, resistance tubing, etc. Monday is slightly different. On Mondays we will now run a "Monday Meeting" from...
