Vaccination Policy for WKCAC

Suzanne Rychlik

Beginning October 25, people ages 12 and older will be required to show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test result to enter certain indoor and outdoor events and establishments in King County.  This health order will apply for entry at the Aquatic Center for activities and events. Details about verifications and policies are at

A laminated facility card will be used at the Aquatic Center for repeat visitors after the first time proof of vaccination has been provided.  This will be an option for team members (athletes, coaches, parents, officials, volunteers) and should expediate the process of future visits only at the Aquatic Center.  The card may be held up for facility staff to see at the check point.  The facility cards are small enough to fit in a wallet and we’ll also provide luggage tag loops.  Cards may not be shared and will not be issued to children 11 and under who are not included in this Health Order.

If a visitor has not finished the last required vaccination at least 14 days prior to the visit, or has another reason for not having proof of vaccination, proof of a negative COVID-19 test result taken in the last 72 hours of each visit will be required at the facility for entry.  Details about negative test verification are in the above link.  Facility cards will not be issued to people using negative COVID-19 test results for entry.

The process of checking all visitors beginning Monday will take significant time.  We recommend team members arrive early to the facility.  We also request parents avoid attending workouts the first few days of practice to reduce the burden at the doors. The same policy and process will be occurring for Aquatic Center recreation user groups.  Some of these programs occur at the same time as team workouts.

As a matter of convenience, we will offer team members the chance to provide early proof of full vaccination this week and during the weekend event.

Wearing masks and social distancing will continue at the Aquatic Center under this new Health Order.
