WEST Coast Aquatics is committed to creating a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all swimmers, coaches, and parents. Here are some sources for you to learn, grow and reflect on DEI causes and your own self. WEST stands against racism and are always working towards becoming a more inclusive environment. We strive for accountability, equity, and fairness & we value honesty, integrity and justice. With that in mind, we join the call for change.

 

WEST will to strive to be socially diverse in the following ways:

  • Require diversity, equity, and inclusion training for all employees & coaches.
  • Creation of community & team diversity education. 
  • Continuation of outreach programs that are socially inclusive.

PNS Women's Resource Group

PNS also has a Women’s Resource Group which has monthly meetings on thursday mornings to help navigate a way forward to help women be more valued at all levels, as athletes, officials and coaches. This group is open to all, no matter what gender you identify with. Please contact diversity@pns.org if you would like to receive emails about the group.
