Today (Thursday, December 9) is the last day for nominations to the USAS Coach Advisory Council to be submitted. The purpose of the Council is to represent all USA Swimming coaches and ensure their voices are heard in the governance process. What’s PNeu - December 2, 2021 PNS December Championships Meets Entry Protocols Per King County Health regulations, all athletes, coaches, volunteers, spectators, etc., aged 12 and older, entering WKCAC must either prove that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of each visit to WKCAC (which means that, for a multiple day meet, multiple tests may be required). For all meets at WKCAC, beginning after October 25th, all athletes, coaches, volunteers, spectators, etc 12 and older entering the facility must either prove that they are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of each visit to WKCAC (which means that for a multiple day meet, may require multiple tests). This group was created following the rejection of the original June 30, 2021, proposal for the HOD Re-structure required to meet the USOPC rules. The revised proposal altered the structure to have more coach participation and created a coaches advisory council to provide input to the HOD and USAS Board.
